Laputa - a wordless graphic novel
A graphic novel made as part of an assignment for my class "Illustration for Communication". the project heavily relied on the concept of self, as well as the incorporation of elements from certain artworks by our favorite artists which we admire the most. For me, that would be Aya Takano. As it can be seen, in the first cover page, there are many artworks of Aya Takano's recreated and placed into the composition. These artworks are represented through recurring characters in the novel.
